Babywearing Assistance Services

In-person babywearing consultations with Larissa at McKinley Kid include an assessment of your needs, an overview of carrier types, trying tester carriers, and assistance with fit and comfort. 45-60 minute consultations at our home business in the Sand Lake area of Anchorage are charged a $20 non-refundable fee.
A $20 credit will be issued toward the purchase of a baby carrier from McKinley Kid for use within 14 calendar days of the consultation.

Assistance appointments for carriers not purchased at McKinley Kid can also be scheduled. While we encourage you to attend the Anchorage babywearing group meetings, we understand that sometimes more help is needed or schedules conflict. For $20 this 45 minute consultation for your existing carrier includes written literature, hands-on help, and a needs assessment.
A $20 credit will be issued toward the purchase of a baby carrier from McKinley Kid for use within 14 calendar days of the consultation. If you purchased your carrier at McKinley Kid then your follow-up consultation is free of charge.
