Using your wrap Links will take you to view a
short video demo on mamatoto.org. Tips:
- As with any carrier, practice makes perfect.
- If new to wrapping, practice first in front of a mirror using a doll.
- Make sure baby is fed, happy and has on a clean, dry diaper
- Learn front carries first, then hip, then back.
-
When first learning back carries, it is recommended to kneel on your
knees on a carpeted floor or on a bed, or to have a spotter with you.
- To adjust the wrap or make it tighter, pull on the edges. It may be helpful to bounce and pull gently to get it just right.
-
For back carries, always tuck a little bit of fabric between your back
and baby's crotch area. This helps to prevent the fabric from sliding
up.
- to prevent pressure points, fold the wrap in half length-wise first OR spread the fabric out completely so it's not bunched.
