Carriers for Plus-sized Moms and Dads We
choose our stock with options for plus-sized parents in mind. It's important to get a baby carrier that fits, is comfortable, is stylish, and that your baby loves too. The measurements of most of our carriers are available on the carrier pages. If measurements are missing, please use our contact form so we can inform you and update the website. We stock or can order large and extra-large ring slings that fit people up to 300 pounds. If you are in doubt, look closely at the size charts available and measure your torso so you can get a good fit. Most mei tais will easily fit women and men up to a size 20/22 or 2X. We do regularly order Kozy and Ball Baby Overall mei tais with extra-long straps to more comfortably accomodate people of all sizes, and for all carries. Wraps are, by nature, very versatile and most are available up to 16 feet, with extra long Ellaroo wraps available via special order. We also stock extra large Kindercoats (sizes 16-20) and 2X Peekaru vests for cold weather babywearing. More information and suggestions can be found on The Baby Wearer.
